House Groups

On starting at Dunstall Park, children are put into one of four houses:

Green
Blue
Yellow
Red

Each house has its own colour as shown above. Children will stay in their house until Year 6 and any siblings will be put into the same house.

Activities in school are often held in houses. This encourages team building, resilience and helps develop friendships and collaboration across different year groups.

House points are earned by children every day and recorded on Class Dojo. They can be given for demonstrating the Dunstall Park Values, producing some excellent work or impressing staff with their positive attitude to learning. Points are collected over a half term, with the winning house receiving a treat at the end of the term.

Once you know which house your child is in, get a plain t-shirt in the house colour as these are needed for house events such as Sports Days and PE lessons. These are also available with a logo on from SK Uniforms.

The Arthur Terry Learning Partnership is committed to keeping our students safe, both in school and the wider community. As part of our safeguarding arrangements, we have a two-way information sharing agreement in place with the local police authority. The agreement is compliant with Crime & Disorder Act 1998 (s.115) and Data Protection Act 1998(s.29.3; s.35.2.), and focuses on preventing young people from becoming involved or further involved in crime and anti-social behaviour as a victim or offender.
