School Uniform

At Dunstall Park Primary school, we encourage children to take pride in their                  appearance and remind them that, whilst wearing school uniform, they are ambassadors for our school. Therefore, it is imperative that children attend wearing the appropriate uniform.

Affordability

Our school is committed to ensuring that its school uniform is affordable and accessible to all pupils and does not place an unreasonable financial burden on parents.

SK School Uniforms is our main uniform supplier. They sell all Dunstall Park branded clothing with the school logo on, including sweatshirts, cardigans, polo shirts, PE hoodies and school book bags.

Address : 46 Chartwell, Riverside, Tamworth, B79 7UG

However, logos on uniform are optional, and most non-branded school uniform items are also available at local supermarkets.

Due to the distinctive jade colour of our sweatshirt/cardigan, a cheaper unbranded version can only be bought directly from the school office at the more affordable ‘cost price’.

Please contact admin@dunstallparkprimary.atlp.org.uk if you would like to purchase one.

Required Uniform

  • Grey trousers (long or short), grey skirt or pinafore dress
  • White polo shirt
  • Jade green round neck sweatshirt or cardigan (from SK Uniforms only due to colour)
  • Grey/white socks or grey/white tights
  • Yellow full gingham dress/playsuit (Summer only)
  • Black leather or leather look shoes (no coloured logos or fabric trainers)

PE Kit

  • House coloured t-shirt (you will be advised of your child’s house in advance)
  • Black shorts
  • Trainers (black pumps do not support your child enough in outdoor PE lessons)
  • Black hoodie
  • Black jogging bottoms for outdoor PE during colder weather

Jewellery

  • A small pair of stud earrings may be worn (the child must be able to remove them independently, otherwise this should be done at home on PE days).
  • A wristwatch may be worn.

Your child will also need…

A school book bag for KS1 and a school bag for KS2. All children must bring a named water bottle.

Name everything!

Please ensure all items of uniform are clearly labelled with your child’s name if you hope to see them again! Using a Sharpie (biro washes out) to write your child’s name on to one of the inside labels is a great help and helps us ensure you get all the uniform returned to you. Unnamed lost property will periodically be put out on display for parents to claim; unclaimed items will then be disposed of or washed and donated to a pre-loved sale.

We’d recommend having at least:

2-3 polo shirts
2 pairs of trousers/skirts/dresses
1-2 sweatshirts/cardigans
PE kit – 1 set is usually enough (this should be worn on their PE days only)

Many children like to hang something, for example a key ring, to their school bag, and pump bag so they instantly know which one is theirs, especially if it’s one with a Dunstall Park logo.
